                                               Announcements - Week of August 4th 

ALLIES Families,

It was truly wonderful to welcome all of our new and returning Dragons! The energy, excitement, and smiles throughout ALLIES made for a memorable and joyful start to the school year. We’re looking forward to an incredible year filled with learning and growth. There are so many exciting events and activities ahead, and we can’t wait to share them with you. This time of year is always special, full of fresh starts and new opportunities, and we’re ready to dig in together! Stay in the ALLIES loop by reading on for some announcements and upcoming items:

Crosswalks: ALLIES staff provides crosswalk coverage in front of ALLIES at car drop-off from 7:45 - 8:00 during arrival and at the ALLIES car pickup from 3:15 - 3:30 at dismissal. Odyssey Elementary staff will provide crosswalk coverage on Charlotte Pkwy. and on Jackpot Dr. from at 7:55 - 8:15.

Friday Folders: Students will receive Friday Folders each Friday. If we do not have school on Friday, we will send it home on the Thursday of that week. At times throughout the year, you may not receive a Friday Folder if we do not have paperwork to send home. When you do receive a Friday Folder, please be sure to check it for important information from ALLIES. We don’t want you to miss anything! We appreciate you sending the folder back on Mondays so our staff can get it ready to send home at the end of the week!

Student Fees: Please remember to pay student fees as soon as possible. Reach out to the front office if you have any questions. We are happy to help! 

Free/Reduced Resources: Student Fees may be reduced for families who qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch program.  We want to share a friendly reminder that is extremely important for all qualifying families to complete the application process, regardless of the availability of meals at no cost for all D49 families. This will ensure access to all the benefits provided, which support programs at your student’s schools and include individual assistance for school fees. Families who are new to the program can register and apply, and qualifying families may reapply today by clicking this link https://payschoolscentral.com/

Friday, August 8th - No school, student assessments by appointment (Sign Up Genius links)

Wednesday,  August 13th - Take Flight Binder Night, 6 pm at ALLIES (new families only)
